Autumn

At 27 years old, Autumn is a dedicated student and is currently employed with the City of Miramar. She has a deep appreciation for all forms of art, with a special passion for spoken word poetry. Autumn’s altruistic nature is reflected in her desire to contribute to her community and support those around her. When she’s not working or studying, Autumn can be found on the basketball court or spending quality time with her family, embodying a balance of creativity, compassion, and an active lifestyle.

Autumn was formerly a student at the Jason Taylor Reading Room in Miramar throughout her middle school years. It was at the Reading Room where Autumn wrote the first poem of her life and inspired the creation of the Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network. Her investment in the development of this program also led her to help organize a poetry club at her school, Miramar High, where she was part of the inaugural Louder Than a Bomb Florida Team Champions squad.
