Celine is a Senior at Davidson College in Davidson, NC, where she is a POSSE Miami Scholar, double majoring in Political Science and Educational Studies on the Pre-Law Track. Celine’s philanthropic journey began from a very young age as her parents always instilled in her the values of paying your blessings forward when the opportunity arises.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Celine founded 7 Helping Hands, serving more than 100,000 families by her senior year of high school, and started a pantry at her high school to assist students and families year-round with resources. She has partnered with various organizations such as the Ronald McDonald’s House of Miami, Lotus House, Camillus House, Kristie’s House, and the Miami Rescue Mission to spread her passion across various communities.

Celine’s Philanthropic journey has earned her numerous awards, including the Miami Herald’s Community Hero feature, the Prudential Spirit Community Award of Miami and Florida Runner-Up, Miami Marlins Community Impact Hero, City of Sweetwater Proclamation and Distinguished Day, City of Sweetwater Commissioner Marcos Villanueva “Selfless” award, DO the right thing May 2023, Bryan Art Foundation “Professional and Dedicated” award, and was named the 2023 Miami-Dade Journalism Silver Night.

In recognition of her outstanding dedication to others, she was selected as the 2023 Jason Taylor Community Hall of Fame Youth Honoree, joining Susan Renneisen, of Seminole Hard Rock Hotels, and Miami Marlins legend, Jeff Conine, as members of the 2023 Class.

Currently, Celine continues to serve her community away from home as the President of Davidson College’s Make-A-Wish chapter, Wish granter for Make-A-Wish of Central and Western Carolina’s, Service Chair of Warner Hall Eating House, and bilingual community engagement volunteer at Caterpillar Ministries.
