Kellen is a student, creator, and co-founder who, above all, hopes to one day be a vessel for change.

She is the co-founder of Goals for Growth, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people through field days, lasting sporting equipment, and essential resources. Inspired by her passion for sports and her connection to her Jamaican roots, she created the organization to ensure that more children in the Caribbean have access to the joy that sports can provide. Through Goals for Growth, she has impacted more than 245 children, foster care workers, and volunteers through field days and the donation of sporting equipment that can be used long after each event ends. At the heart of her work is a desire for every child to feel as though they have a team on their side.

Her philanthropic heart has always been paired with an entrepreneurial spirit. After starting her first business in the third grade, Kellen continued developing a passion for creativity, leadership, and meaningful change.

Her commitment to service, academics, and athletics has earned her recognition as a 2026 Jason Taylor Community Hall of Fame Youth Honoree, a 2026 Miami Herald Silver Knight School Nominee in Athletics, a recipient of the Charity for Champions Academic Achievement Award, a National Merit Commended Student, and an AP Scholar with Distinction. She also served as captain of her varsity volleyball team and co-president of both the Caribbean Students Association and CARE Club.

As an incoming freshman at Rice University, Kellen plans to study applied mathematics and business with the goal of one day building and leading her own company. Above all, she hopes to remain grounded in her purpose, stay true to her values, and continue using entrepreneurship as a tool for social impact. She aspires not only to succeed within existing systems but also to dismantle and transform them for the better.
